I want to make people think about certain environmental and social issues facing the World, and
our Country with my photographs. And if anything can be done to make things better for all.
Ghostly Talapias are about. the water, the life, the death and the environmental issues associated
with this 1905 manmade mistake/wonder. The Salton Sea needs to be maintained partly to
preserve wildlife that relocated to the sea when coastal building forced the marshland wildlife
out, Even though it may never return to its 1950’s glamorous heyday. But left untouched it will
evaporate unleashing an extremely toxic dust cloud of dead fish, algae, agriculture fertilizers and
pesticides that will engulf Southern California.
